My dog and I are extremely happy tenants at the Villas. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath unit is spacious. Every request made was handled quickly, courteously and efficiently.

I am having a great time at Monarch Villas. The grounds are well kept, jacuzzi is always hot and the beach is a 5 minute walk. People are more friendly than when I lived in a Laguna Niguel house.

I love living at the Villas at Monarch Beach. I moved here in November, 2002.

If you don't love a brand-new, huge place with big windows on all of your bedroom walls, this is probably not your kind of place. This is a friendly community of polite people who love outdoor recreation.

I'm happy that the apartment maintenance team is quick, effective and friendly. The rent hasn't been too bad and the location is impeccable, with spacious, gorgeous surroundings.

All items were ready timely for move-in. We are additionally blessed with great neighbors! Love it! We will be here for years! Highly recommend for all. Greatest location too.

I would recommend it to any of my friends.. and each of their friends!

Moved to Orange County 4 years ago from Santa Barbara. Was so happy to find a 1 bedroom apartment so close to the beach also with a pool. Early this year moved to a 2 bedroom- Very happy with my choice.In the past I have lived in 12 States and 2 foreign countries. I have been in the hotel business over 60 years.

Nothing but a pleasant and a really beautiful place to live.

This is a really great place to live with super close proximity to the beach, a park which had concerts and events and is close to shopping. It is not too far from the freeway (15 min) but far enough that it is a very quiet place to live. There is a great workout room and swimming pool available for residents to use that are both kept very clean and in good working condition.

This is a great place to live. Quiet, safe and clean. Being by the beach is nice. Villa's is a gated community. I have recommended the Villas to over 5 of my friends and one has rented an apartment. Very convenient to Dana and Laguna.

It's a beautiful complex. I feel like I live in a park instead of apartments. The location is optimal; my neighbors are the St. Regis and the Ritz! Also backyard community events and a very short walk to the beach :) Great service and upkeep. The building are older but it's worth it.

Great place to live, the surrounding area is quiet and has many amenities. Beach, Ritz, St Regis, Movies, Restaurants, Downtown Dana Point, Hospital, Dentist, close to work, concerts at the park, etc

I have lived here with my family since November, 2002. It has been a very nice community of apartment dwellers near the beach. My two sons were raised here successfully. The onsite management is pleasant and hard-working. The maintenance staff is top-notch, fast and friendly. The grounds are beautiful!

Extremely quick service. I work to far from home to let maintenance in or to put my dogs in my room, and they have been great working around the dogs. Very happy here.

Easy and fast move in. Quiet community. The leasing agent could have been more helpful and friendly, but we got everything signed and that's what's important. All paperwork is done electronically which is fantastic and efficient. Couldn't get closer to the beach, but grocery store is a drive.

The Villas continue to be the perfect rustic location for me. I also enjoy animals, so the rabbits, coyotes, rats, cats and loose dogs add to nature's experience. I took all the window screens off several years ago and leave the windows wide open to allow the termites and other infestations to escape. Nothing beats living in the beautiful outdoors 24/7. The Villas are surrounded by multi-million dollar homes and 5 star resorts, so when I miss civilization I just hang out with the neighbors.

I love The Villas. It is a nice and quiet community. I also love the location and park. Additionally, office staff has been wonderful and the maintenance workers are nice and very accommodating. I am very happy living here. It is Dana Point's 'little secret' - don't tell!

Always kept clean. Repairs and issues are usually resolved quickly.

The staff at The Villas made everything about moving easy and seamless! I absolutely can't say enough about how much I love my apartment, the community and the location. Everyone I have met is so nice and the staff has all been so helpful during my transition.

It's awesome. The location to the beach is very close. Salt creek beach is great for barbecues and surfing. The onsite facilities are well kept and fun to use. The community is very family friendly. The gym is nice. Everything is nice. Very quiet at night too.

I have only lived here for six months, but I am completely satisfied with my apartment, the grounds, and the residents who call the Villas "home." The location is perfect. I can have my feet in the sand in five minutes. It is wonderful to include the ocean as part of my neighborhood. Having the library as our neighbor is a huge plus for me as I am an avid reader. Every type of food market and shop is either within a short ride away or within walking distance. I would highly recommend the Villas!

Nice and quiet by the beach. Convenient access to shopping, restaurants, major hwys. Private access to the beach trails, the park, and the golf course. The units are small but very well maintained. The grounds are clean with nice landscaping. The staff is very responsive to the work orders. Several buildings went thought major renovation recently.

This is my first apartment living experience and I was nervous. My experience has been delightful. It is peaceful! The grounds are well kept and the office staff and maintenance crew are friendly and helpful. It is a very pet friendly place to live! I love it here!

The rental process was so easy. Everyone here is so friendly. The location cannot be beat! Having direct beach access is so helpful to me. I love how pet friendly the complex is. I take full advantage of all the complex has to offer; pool, jacuzzi, gym etc.

Expert repair and great service loved it. If you live here it's a plus!! You have to be here to appreciate the hard work the staff. Helps each unit, they help getting the job done and take a personal interest for each unit. This is not usually in this industry if you live here you can appreciate their work ethic. Don't hesitate in wanting to make this your home. It’s awesome, make your life happen at The Villas.

My Experience so far was great! Staff is very nice and attentive. I have no problems whatsoever. I love calling the Villas "home”! I hope to be here for a very long time. The area is just so nice and there is so much to do the views are amazing. I never want to leave my area!

Great location, neighbors, staff, and facilities. After living here for 6 years it's hard to leave, the buildings are old, but problems are addressed by priority.

I love being able to wake up every day and walk to the beach. I have a dog, so it is great to be in such a dog friendly community. The building is older but worth it for the location. All our neighbors are great.

I have lived here for a year now and I am shocked by some of the reviews. My boyfriend and I moved here because it is walking distance to Salt Creek and we both love surfing there. From the day we came to look at the apartments the staff has always been courteous and the maintenance has been great, they almost always come the same day we put in a work order. Also all the events at the park are an extra perk, concerts, wine festival and Oktoberfest. We just signed our renewal and are happy!

Very pleased. Excellent location. Low-rise (2 stories) are ideal. Conducive to meeting neighbors. Jacuzzi and pool access is great. We have french doors and large patio, which are very enjoyable. Complex size is good--large enough for good amenities, but not too large.

I love this place...yes, there are some problems, the apartments were built in 1971. The location is the best in Dana Point and the grounds have the sweet welcome of years of tending and growth. The units themselves are homey and can be beautiful if one has talent for decor.

It has been an amazing experience living in the community. The community is very friendly. Love how close the beach is from the house. The community is very safe and well taken care of. Love how the gym is 24hrs and is well equipped with machines and weights.

The Villas is a fantastic place to live. It really feels like a home and neighborhood. It is very close Dana Point Harbor and has a lot of amenities. Pool, whirlpool, gym, golf. Location is everything and you can take a trolley to Laguna Beach.

The Villas at Monarch is a very nice community to live in. Everything is very clean and up to date. The management here is very friendly. There are many hiking trails and a nearby beach. This community also provides a swimming pool, tennis court and washroom along with a water fountain. Each apartment also gets their own patio which you may decorate as you would like. My grandchildren love to come visit here.

My bathroom was locked from inside and we couldn’t take a bath at that time; we needed to go to work. We then we called the manager of the villas at monarch beach; she asked us to wait until the maintenance came to our house. The maintenance staff came and resolved our problem quickly.

I enjoy living here; the premises with the old trees offer a sense of serenity. The manager assigned to the premises oversees all work needs for the upkeep of the premises (looking clean and well-manicured on a daily basis) as well as following up on all work orders for repairs.

I lived here a little over a year and it's the most positive apartment home community I've lived in and being in California for 20 years, I've lived in a few. Keep up the good work. I have been singing the praises of this location and its amenities to all my friends and family. The office staff is always polite and professional!

It is like a park inside and my apartment is cozy, and whenever I have a problem and call the office, they send the maintenance man over ASAP and everyone that works here is so nice and makes me feel important. I was so pleased with my apartment at the Villas at Monarch Beach, my boyfriend and I had a fabulous trip! We spent a few days at Salt Creek Beach and a few nights walking around downtown Laguna. We used both the gym and pool facilities and I must say that everything was immaculate, staff was friendly and we loved it!!!! :)

Great location, and beautifully kept property with all new upgrades here at The Villas, which are a few hundred feet away from 1 of California's best kept secrets, Salt Creek Beach. If you're a surfer or just love being by the ocean, these affordable apartments are the best around you'll find. If you've got kids, they'll make so many happy memories playing in the sand, building sandcastles or flying kites at the park in this very safe location right next door to Dana Point.

I couldn't be happier, and feel so fortunate to have gotten 1 of the last few remaining apartment homes here, with the friendliest staff.
